In all of our language courses we always try to adapt our programme to create a course to suit the students’ personal needs. But, with a Group Course, this is the main objective, this course is completely tailor-made and the group/agent participation will be fundamental, and we will be asking them from the start what their interests are so that we can adapt the program to their preferences.
In order to understand the way we work, we will try to explain the important points of this kind of course.
This is a very special course and we will plan everything carefully. You will contact with a coordinator. This person has to make sure that all the points on the program are ready before the group comes to Granada. The agent will have all the important information in advance. We try to make our programs as detailed as possible.
Apart from the personal needs of the group, the age of the members is also very important. We have had many secondary school and college groups and we understand their specific requirements.
The program will include:
RETURN AIRPORT TRANSFER
COACH HIRE: For activities which require a coach.
Depending on the group size, we can rent a minibus (28 seats) or a coach (55 seats).
Whenever possible, for activities in town, we can use public transport too.
These are the most popular options
Students (twin rooms) and teachers (single rooms) in Host Families.
Students (twin/3 bedded rooms) and teachers (single rooms) in a ***Hotel.
Students (twin rooms) in Host Families and teachers (single rooms) in a ***Hotel.
Although Half or Full Board can be chosen, we recommend Full Board for young students.
The group can decide the number of lessons. All classes have a maximum of 8/10 students, which allows for individual attention. Course material, school folder and pen included. The head of Studies (together with the Group Language Coordinator) will design the Course, depending on the Group’s specific knowledge of the Spanish Language. Of course, student’s age and interests would be fundamental in order to get a program that suits all their needs well.
At the end of the course they will receive a certificate stating their chosen course and the number of hours they have attended.
ACTIVITIES OUTSIDE THE SCHOOL
City guide visits (Alhambra, Albayzin, Cathedral,…), full/half day trips (coast, mountains, Cordoba, Seville, Malaga,…) and many options for afternoon activities in town and at the school (tapas tours, cooking class, flamenco dancing class, cinema, theme parks, food tasting, “lessons” outside the school, sports,….).
Many of these activities were suggested by the schools themselves, so we can always organize new activities if the group requests it. Of course, we are open to all suggestions. We understand that the activities decision is often based on the cost. We will always give you many options to suit all the school’s requirements.
Please, if you have any question, don’t hesitate to contact us. We would appreciate if you can send us some basic information about the school trip/s you organize (possible dates, number of language lessons and participants) so that we can give you sample itineraries and quotes. There will be always a member of staff from i.d.e.a. who coordinates the trip and who is always available to answer any query you may have.
Looking forward to meeting you in Granada!
