Group Courses

These courses are aimed at groups of at least 8 students from schools, colleges, universities, etc who want to come to Spain to improve their language skills and learn more about Spanish life and culture. We can put together a customised package that combines language classes with extracurricular activities such as lectures, guided tours of Granada and other places of interest in Andalusia, films,  tapas nights, dance etc. We will be delighted to adapt our programme to reflect your group's particular needs and preferences.

We will arrange all of the classes and activities for you, so you can concentrate on making the most of your visit. A member of the i.d.e.a. team will coordinate your trip and will be available throughout your stay to answer any questions that you may have.

Don't hesitate to get in touch if you would like to receive sample itineraries with prices. In order for us to make the information as relevant as possible for your group, please include basic details about your proposed trip (possible dates, number of classes, number of participants, etc.), as well as any preferences for activities or other special requirements.

We hope to see you in Granada soon!

Daniel Gannon Spanish teacher at Brentwood School, Los Angeles, CA, for the past 27 years
I highly recommend the i.d.e.a. Institute of Granada! This academy has always been the #1 choice for my high school students who visit Granada each year. The pedagogy, pacing, and personality of the teachers is exactly what my teenagers need to keep them running back to their daily morning instruction. They always tell me, "Profe, when you advertise for next year's trip to Spain, please don't use the word 'classes' when you talk about the morning sessions because what we do here is NOT like our school's classes back home -- THESE courses are FUN, EXCITING, AND WE LEARN SO MUCH. The three hours fly by and we love our teachers...even though they only speak in Spanish!" I see the pride of achievement on their faces and I know that they are in good hands. What a wonderful testimony for total language immersion from the mouths of teens!

Class size is ideal with 3-6 students per room and the coursework is custom designed especially for the needs of my students who are in Granada for only a short while. ALL of them say that they will definitely consider returning to Granada for a semester or year abroad when they are in college. Again, what an amazing tribute to this great town and institute.

The director of studies, Cristina, has a passion for engaging young minds in the pursuit of language acquisition. She understands the importance of encouraging students (regardless of age) to continue speaking, reading, listening, and wriitng in their new language so that each step takes them closer to their goal of proficiency... in a challenging, rewarding, and fun way.

i.d.e.a. is my only recommendation in Granada.
